He said that the men ‘disappeared’.“A special team from the Tactical Services Unit has been put together to search for these two men and we are working on a theory that they were removed by some corrupt means from the lockups.”A female police corporal and a rural constable were on duty at the time of the escape and they have since been arrested. Both Commissioner Greene and Crime Chief Seelall Persaud are of the belief that at least one corrupt rank facilitated the breakout.Initial reports indicate that the men were due in court yesterday but sneaked out of the station between 01:00 hrs and 02:00 hrs.Thierens was detained on Saturday in Meadow Brook, in the vicinity of the ‘Blacka.’According to Greene, investigators have collected statements from both men which implicate them in the torching of the Ministry of Health.The statements allege that the men were paid $300,000 each by an individual, whom they named, to set the fire.Thierens,Wholesale Baltimore Orioles Jerseys, according to police,Michael Taylor Nationals Jersey, also gave investigators a statement which implicated him in several murders and he is also believed to be a surviving member of the notorious Fine Man gang.It is stated that he had cut off his dreadlocks and fled to Barbados after Fine Man and other gang members were killed, but recently returned to Guyana.Police said that acting on this and other information, six other people were arrested.A wanted bulleting issued yesterday stated that????????????????????? The lockups there are very secure having bolts while an external door has both bolts and padlocks.Corporal Chichester and the rural constable were handling queries at the time. Chichester reported that she made checks some time after midnight and the prisoners were there.? But at 2: 15 hrs yesterday when she looked into the lockups she said that two of the three prisoners had disappeared. The third man was not related to the fire probe.Commissioner Greene said, “We have serious concerns as to how these men left the lock- ups. We have certain information that we are working on and arrests will be made shortly.Commissioner Greene said a fifth man in custody is assisting the police with further investigations while the force is looking for two other key players who they believe can offer assistance to the investigations.And commenting on Archie Poole and Heston Bostwick, Commissioner Greene said the force has not arrived at a stage where it can definitively say that they have committed any offence or to the point where there is evidence of them having committed any offence.
