Two persons who attempted to bribe a police officer to avoid prosecution were remanded to prison after they appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court, yesterday.It was alleged that Manella Ramkarran,Ron Duguay Rangers Jersey, 21,Michael Taylor Nationals Jersey, and Shane Ramkin, of Third Avenue Bartica on April 2,Tony Dorsett Jersey, wrongfully obstructed the course of justice by giving Detective Constable Devon Lowe the sum of $200,000 so that he would not prosecute them for narcotics possession.
